Kohler to close Searcy plant

LITTLE ROCK — The Kohler Co. announced plans Monday to shutter its stainless steel sink manufacturing plant in Searcy at the end of November and move production to a newer company plant in Mexico.

ASU-Searcy to be natural-gas training site

SEARCY — Chesapeake Energy Corp., the largest gas producer in the United States, says it will make the Arkansas State University-Searcy campus its national training center.
